For A Couple of weeks now, The name Wizkid has been pronounced once in about every 70 words in conversations across the country.
Whether you’re a fan, hater or fake lover, The above fact is undeniable as long as you’re familiar with the Music Industry. Going down from the back to back anticipation of his latest album Sounds From The Other Side to his trending beef with Davido and not limited to that of other artistes and fans that took sides in the trend.
All these notwithstanding, Wizkid is still the Biggest Nigerian act in Africa right now .
Do you think Wizkid is over hyped?
No! not at all .. For an artist to be able to please new audience does not mean he is over hyped.
Truth be told, Wizzy is highly on another level and he doesn’t seem to be dropping in altitude anytime soon. His creativity of late is electrifying.
After listening to His stfos album, i was left with no choice but to agree the dude is Good!… I had to fix it in my foreign hit playlist.
Has Wizkid Done It All?
Yes! Judging by an incident that that occurred during the days of EME with Banky w when Wizkid’s Exit from the team caused a rift between him and Banky W forcing the EME boss to attack Wizkid.. A copy of the tweets attached below where Banky assured He’ll get Wizkid Replaced.
But the label has not found a replacement for Wizkid ever since then.
Thats Big! Bigger than accumulating a billion in multiples of 30.
Also Recall that Banky w was spotted at Wizkid’s STFos album release party.. He shared pictures of himself having a great time and sang along to hits from Wizkid first Album, Superstar. There is no love lost between them though, Brothers don’t fight for ever.
